TRISTRAM APPARITION at the 1982 Australian National Arabian Championships
This month the Aussie Champs

The very first Australian Championships were held at the Melbourne showgrounds, in conjunction with the Arabian Classic in 1982.

Bluegrass was there, with Tristram Apparition awarded Top 10 Stallion and Bluegrass Arrival sashed Top 10 mare.

Since it's inception, Bluegrass has owned, shown and / or bred countless Champions, Reserves and Top 10 award winners.

We wish everyone attending the best of luck  and look forward to the Aussie Champs apparently coming to Victoria next show season (March 2008)!

HEAVEN

BLUEGRASS MADE IN HEAVEN relaxing at home in New Zealand

Lee Cox, owner of the beautiful
BLUEGRASS MADE IN HEAVEN
{D'Amors Saabi-Khan x Bluegrass Love Me Tender}
has sent in an update:

"Just a paddock snap of Heaven..... and a note to let you know she is well. She is a really dolly bird with her blonde mane and tail and she has gone a really deep liver colour.

Her foal is growing like a mushroom, more outwards than upwards though, she is feeding him too well :)"

Great to hear Lee, that Heaven and her baby boy are going well. Look forward to more updates !!

Bush Fires

BLUEGRASS FAMILY MEMBER Veronica McEwan and husband Gary, were victims of the bush fires that ravaged parts of Victoria this summer. Veronica writes:
"We are extremely grateful we (horses, cats, dogs, birds and us) are here to tell the tale, and we are proud that we saved our house and stables even though we lost our fences, yards and out buildings and of course all our hay.
I have never been so terrified in my life, it was lucky Gary was so calm and cool as it helped me to do the job that had to be done."

What a horendous thing to have to go through Veronica and Gary, but how glad we all are that you both (along with all your animals) are here to tell the story !!!!
