- In 1984,
NIHAL
PHILLIPA
foaled the very beautiful
TRISTRAM APPARITION
daughter......
BLUEGRASS LOVEPOTION.
This was one very special filly to Paul & Norma and as
the years passed by, her true worth came to light.
- As a yearling,
LOVEPOTION
attended only two shows, the 1985 Riverina Division Arabian show for
Junior Champion Filly -
judge Peter Pond
{AUS}. And then on to the 1986 Arabian Classic
where she was 1st in the Yearling Filly Futurity,
1st in the Yearling Filly class
(heat a), Junior Champion Filly, Supreme
Junior Exhibit and Supreme Mare or Filly,
under judge WLADYSLAW GUZIUK
{Poland},
being defeated by
Simeon Sanegor
for the Supreme Exhibit award. Unbeknown to
Bluegrass, this stallion was to become
a big part in the next generation of their breeding.

- At the 1987 Classic,
LOVEPOTION
won her 2 year old Filly Futurity
and her 2 year old Filly class.

- In 1997,
LOVEPOTION
attended the
Arabian Classic
where she
- won
the Mare 10 & under 15years.
- This show was quite the
family outing, as her daughter
- BLUEGRASS LOVE ME TENDER won
the Broodmare In foal/Foal at
foot,
- while her daughter's
BLUEGRASS AMAZING GRACE won
the filly foal class
and
BLUEGRASS LISA MARIE won
the Yearling Filly
class
and went onto win
Reserve Junior Champion
Filly,
all under judge Elizabeth Salmon.
